While at fashion school in Paris, tired and frustrated with the rigorous and grueling ready to wear program, I chose to specialise in accessories and soon became obsessed with the material of leather and it's transformation into objects.

The tactility of the craft attracted me, reminding me of my childhood days watching carpenters take wood and turn it into objects.

Inspiration comes freely - from observing people in the streets, notions of practicality, to dreaming about vintage objects and collecting references, which adds singularity and uniqueness.

The idea of ByAbdul is to offer handmade leather accessories made with upcycled leather and fabric giving importance to craftsmanship, injected with a sense of modern aesthetic and practicality.
